Radiothon 2023

The 2023 CKNX Healthcare Heroes Radiothon was held on October 21st, 2023. We were in awe as our community rallied once again to raise over $95,000 for the purchase of a new scope reprocessor, rigid scope, and scope cart for the Listowel Memorial Hospital OR. These items are an essential part of providing safe and timely care in our community.

We set out with the goal of raising $70,000 for these important pieces of equipment and were blown away by your generosity as we accomplished that and more! The additional funds will go towards supporting other much needed items at Listowel Memorial Hospital. 

There were many reasons to celebrate this year. Thanks to your support, this year was the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation’s most successful Radiothon yet! This year was also the 40th anniversary of the Walter J. Blackburn Foundation. In celebration of this milestone, each participating hospital also received a $5,000 donation in support of their Radiothon goals. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community.
