Donation strengthens women’s health in Listowel
Monday, March 17, 2025 — Listowel, Ontario — The Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation will soon welcome a new mammography unit, thanks largely in part to a major gift from Strong Roots Insurance Brokers.
The generous donation of $205,000 by the Stratford-based company will also support renovations to improve access and patient experience through the Hospital’s Breast Screening Program.
Listowel Memorial Hospital is a leader in breast health with quality, timely care, and is one of the few rural sites offering screening and assessment services. Growing demand and changes to provincial screening guidelines led to the need for a new mammography unit to expand services and maintain low wait times.
