Listowel Fair Donation towards the Hospital Emergency Department and the OR at LMH

Recently the Listowel Agricultural Society made a donation to the Listowel Memorial Hospital. The donation comes as a result of the successful 2023 Listowel Agricultural Fair, held July 13-16, 2023 at the Listowel Fairgrounds. The $10,000 donation will be put towards the purchase of a Trauma Stretcher for the Emergency Department of the hospital and a Scope Cart for the OR.

The grandstands were full for shows, events in the in-field, Ag Hall and in tents were well attended and the midway was a busy spot all weekend. It took the help of a large number of volunteers from the community to make the fair a successful event.

Because of the community’s support and the success of the fair, the Listowel Agricultural Society wanted to give back to the community said Ag Society President, Elizabeth Johnston.  The Ag Society has donated over $26,850.00 in the past 10 years!  Thank you!
