We are excited to announce our 2024 Spring Gala theme: Run for the Roses.

This year's event will be held on June 1st, 2024 at the Elma Community Centre in Atwood. Join us for cocktails, hors d'ouvres, and a gourmet dinner prepared by local staples Toban and Taylor of The Winston House Catering Co followed by entertainment by the Toronto All-Star Big Band Combo and live and silent auctions. 

The purpose of this event is to say thank you to our community for their generous and steadfast support over the course of the year and to raise money for a special project. This year's proceeds will support the renovation of the Fisher Family Primary Care Centre, or, as we have come to call it, the Fisher Clinic. The needs of our community have outgrown the clinic’s existing infrastructure in recent years. An expansion of the clinic is needed to accommodate the number of health practitioners already occupying the facility and to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community it serves. In fact, a number of staff are already "doubling up" and sharing workspaces. A new, two-story addition is planned for the clinic in order to provide the space needed to meet these demands. The proposed addition consists of physician offices and consultation rooms along with space for clinical and administrative support staff. The new space provides one larger clinic room per floor designed to accommodate bariatric patients and procedures in order to provide more inclusive care for all. The existing waiting and reception areas are to be expanded with individual reception spaces providing additional privacy for initial patient contact and follow-up. The total cost for this project is in excess of $9M. Some of this is covered through other sources; however, approximately $4M will still need to be raised to support the project.

Tickets for this year's event are $125. They will go on sale April 1st.
